This client was looking to transform a dated kitchen with old white cabinetry and aging tile floors into a clean-lined modern kitchen work space. First, dark Java custom oak stained cabinets in a shaker style were chosen as the back drop. New appliances including a stainless counter-depth French door refrigerator, a stainless oven under a drop-in gas cooktop and a large, deep rectangular stainless sink were selected. Large 18” x 18” floor tile, and a modern white subway backsplash tile help bring everything together. Quartz countertops are maintenance free while providing the marble look the client was trying to achieve. The eat-in kitchen area gets extra style points from the beautiful crystal and chrome chandelier lighting fixture.
